Lilfirefighter started in 2016 when our then 3 year old son saw and heard a fire engine drive by with lights and siren blazing. From that moment he was hooked. But it was more than just wanting a fire engine or fire truck toy. He wanted to know how to fight fires and what tools are used and how to use them. He would wake up wanting to watch training videos on YouTube and would try to emulate what he saw. He got a set of turnouts but was disappointed that there wasn't a good selection of the "tools of the trade" for him to train with, and what was available didn't resemble what he saw on the training videos. He was and is so passionate about the Fire Service that my wife and I started to make him gear that would more closely resemble what he saw. Now some 3 years later he is still passionate about the Fire Service and wants to help other kids be Fire Safe and learn about the Fire Department. We made this page because of the overwhelming amount of interest we have received from other families with their own lilfirefighters that love the Fire Department that were interested in the gear we made or had made for our son. Our hope is that this gear will help families to encourage and inspire each other to dream big and have fun.
